Madame Fancy Pants, 217 Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand

On my way to buy some sushi ^_^ I passed this great design shop on cuba. Lifetime crafter Claire Terry has been making jewellery for four years, creating the Madame Fancy Pants brand in 2003. Next to her jewellery Madame Fancy Pants is selling great stuff from NZ and international artists and crafters.

There is a little exhibition of drawings by Alena Hennessy, a selection of hand-printed kitchen towls by Lisa Price, hand-printed stuffies and bags and many more great stuff to discover…

I was distracted by all the nice stuff in the store the other day that I forgot to write down all the designers. ^_^…
Claire was so kind to help me out:
The owl and pussie cat are from Canada made by bookhou (http://www.bookhou.com/) and the bags are by only midge in Australia. Cheers Claire!

Welcome @ The Lighthouse Keeper’s cat.
which is ... erm ... is in total flux! I decided to move my creative musing - bit by bit - to minu.co.nz (my artist / illustrator alias), and extend my blogging about all things web-ish ... for the time being ... which is the time before I get my new top secret project up.

Please bear with me! ...and enjoy the chaos between street art, printmaking, information architecture and interaction design.
