Needle and Thread Drawing #1

I thought I try something new. So I took my mermaid ink drawing and used it as a kind of draft for this needle and thread drawing… It is sewn using my sewing machine, extra strong thread on a fine linen fabric and stretched over a canvas. The stretching was quite tricky though…

My soul is still lost in transition caused by all the changes in my life. I would like to do more creative stuff, but it is really hard to reconcile all the different bits and pieces of my live.

And I definitely need to do some blog housekeeping too. I still have to find a solution for the post thumbnails and the RSS feed… Argh! Why are the days so short ^_^….

why not calling it “The Needle and the Damage Done”?
    …just joking.
seems to me a consequent development from the drawings and the stitching in your (wrecked) journal – i like it – “Keep on rockin’…” (=drawing, stitching, sewing, skeching, taking photos).

(And no I’m not a f***ing Neil Young fan)

Welcome @ The Lighthouse Keeper’s cat.
which is ... erm ... is in total flux! I decided to move my creative musing - bit by bit - to minu.co.nz (my artist / illustrator alias), and extend my blogging about all things web-ish ... for the time being ... which is the time before I get my new top secret project up.

Please bear with me! ...and enjoy the chaos between street art, printmaking, information architecture and interaction design.
