Stupid Sock Creatures by John Murphy

And again @ Gordon Harris, Wellington - maybe I shouldn’t go there anymore, I am spending way too much money :-) - I found this book “Stupid Sock Creatures” by John Murphy and again published by Lark Book, New York. These creatures are unbelievable.

Plush-O-Rama by Linda Kopp

Thumbnail

Just before last Christmas I went down to Gordon Harris - a art supplies shop in Wellington - and found this great book “Plush-O-Rama” by Linda Kopp published by Lark Books, New York. It features 25 plushies by 13 designers, with a basics section providing information about materials and tools, sewing 101, stitches and customising. There is a template and a description for every creature.

I especially love Rosa Pomar`s dolls and Amy Proff Lyons “Batty Cat Bubbles”.

Essential ActionScript 3.0 by Colin Moock

I just found out that Colin Moock´s book on ActionScript 3.0 is to be released on Jun 1, 2007 by O`REILLY and there is a Rough Cuts Version since October 2006 (how could I have missed that :-)…)

muerto de risa, a blog by

Last week a found an ad in a magazine about a exhibition of UK folk artist Julie Arkell. I had to return the magazine to the library, so I searched for some information about Julie Arkell in the net and found a real nice blogger @ muertoderisa.typepad.com. A new yorker artist currently living Ecuador.
