This is just a great shop run by Duncan, & Prudence, a New Zealand couple returned form New York where they did work for mayor fashion labels. They are selling hand-printed T-Shirts along with great shirt, skirts and trowsers - simple, casual but elegant, abstaining from unnecessary frills, in autumn colours, i just love their stuff. They have great long-sleeved merino-shirts too.

There is a Illicit Boutique on Cuba St. in Wellington. Next to Illicit and Misery ranges, they are selling vinyls by Nathan Jurevicous (you don`t have to be a vinyl addict to love those) and other pop-culture items.
Even if you don`t want to buy anything the shop is worth a visit just for the interior design :-).

On my way to the library yesterday past these stickers - pictures are @ flickr. I love the graffiti displaying the shadow of the sign on the wall. I pass it regularly on my way to work. Years ago I worked on a architecture project with a friend of mine, we tried to capture memories like shadows on a ugly wall without windows. This graffiti reminds me of that…

On the Kelburn Village Fair I found this nice stall. Jo and Steve @ The Apple of My Eye are on ” a mission to find kids stuff that I thought was cool, that no one else had in NZ, and that typified all the things that I loved; a bit of craft, a bit of quirkiness and a bit of nostalgia.”. I think they are doing a very good job.
