Arrived today: Just be Quiet by Sara Harvey, bought at her etsy store. The print is just amazing and I am so happy to have it here ^_^. Sara sent one of her lovely new Gocco prints too. The colours are great… Hm, maybe I get one for myself after xmas… ^_^!

I found this illustration at flickr and I love it! Sara discribes herself as “… a designer by day and a super hero, zombie hunter, illustrator, painter, plush maker, and anything else I can make maker by night [...] I have to create in order to stay sane. Although sometimes I’m not so sure it helps.”

… Argh! I know how that feels and I wish I could put things like this into words like that ^_^…

Look at what I found at print and pattern – one of my favourite blog for inspiration ^_^! In her etsy profile Yellena describes herself as artist/graphic designer obsessed with markers, pens, inks, paper and her illustrations are a proof for this. You find all her stuff at her etsy shop. Awesome illustrations! Prints 6″ x 10″ on 8.5″ x 11″ on high quality, 100% cotton, archival inkjet art paper for 20$ US.





I really should stop hanging around at flickr or etsy and start to work on my own stuff! But all these artist and their amazing stuff ^_^… And I still have 669 unread items in my RSS reader… Maybe I should follow Law 1: Reduce ^_^.

Since job-hunting in a country on the other side of the world is no bed of roses, you sometimes have to take a day off. So The Viech and I spend the day in the city, eating thai-food, drinking a lot of coffee and (window) shopping.  No wonder that we found ourselves standing in front of the popup gallery once more ^_^!
The Viech got a great T-shirt from The Robinz and I promised myself again that I get one of the Ugly Dolls on Secret Mission the day I get my work permit.

the viech love this drawing by lisa solomon so much that he keeps bickering me that i write lisa an E–Mail asking her if it is on sale and how much it is … but i am so shy… erm.
I really love it too. It is like a memory or a dream, fragile and almost transient.
