Popup Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand – again ^_^!

Since job-hunting in a country on the other side of the world is no bed of roses, you sometimes have to take a day off. So The Viech and I spend the day in the city, eating thai-food, drinking a lot of coffee and (window) shopping. No wonder that we found ourselves standing in front of the popup gallery once more ^_^!

The Viech got a great T-shirt from The Robinz and I promised myself again that I get one of the Ugly Dolls on Secret Mission the day I get my work permit.

Neighbourhood Book, by Rinzen

On my last visit to my second favorite art supplier in Wellington i found this piece of art. You will see it, you will feel it, you will love it. In 2004 the Australian design and art collective RINZEN initiated the Neighbourhood Project. 20 blank hand-made toys were passed around the world being reworked and remade each step of the way by various artist around the world. The book shows the dolls in various steps on their journey.
